Stefan Diez has designed a wooden chair range that can be traced back to our bentwood heritage but has transformed it through the use of aesthetical and technological criteria. Bent chair legs and armrests merge in a "knot" and are embedded into the ergonomically shaped seat from underneath. With a suspenseful contrast between the elegantly curved wooden elements and the striking upholstery, the range communicates and also offers comfort: it does not prescribe a specific sitting posture, and the organically shaped backrest flexes for extra comfort.
